1. Investigation

During the investigation process, Agentic meets regularly with the client project team to review what we have learned to date as a team, and to collect and define new and amended expectations for the project. The activities and outputs for this phase include requirements gathering, interviews, as well as gaining an understanding of the client’s criteria for evaluating success.

2. Ideas and Innovation

Guided by the design strategy approved by our client, for each project Agentic explores creative solutions that meet the key client requirements. This typically results in a range of options that will differentiate our client’s website and web presence, create strong appeal, and a cohesive user experience. This phase involves the actual prototyping and construction of the “skeleton” site and test applications, including initial layouts and working models intended to test both technology and navigation.

As part of the Ideas and Innovation phase, we also look for client project team and other stakeholder feedback and usability testing in order to ensure our development concepts have merit. Initial website development covers the most difficult technical questions and provides field testing and general usability testing to ensure that the requirements for the site are being met.

3. Implementation

Building on the approved requirements document and creative direction, we develop the concept selected by the client’s project team into an single design or design program that will meet the technical, functional, and aesthetic requirements of the project. We also thoroughly test all website functionality.

4. Deployment

With the website and related web applications developed, tested, and ready to launch, Agentic ensures that our client’s staff is well trained on all management and support aspects of the client’s website and web applications before deploying the project in a live test. We continue to work with the client team and provide maintenance and support until the hard launch of the site and its embedded applications.

5. Maintenance

Agentic offers a wide range of post-implementation and launch services including website and database hosting and scheduled and emergency site maintenance and bug fixes. We recognize that no development project is complete until its ongoing maintenance and support has been secured, and we include a discussion of our client’s ongoing service arrangements in every project.
